Dai Sifu Vik has been practicing martial arts for nearly 20 years. After achieving a black belt in karate at an early age and winning many local tournaments he moved on to WTF (full contact) Tae Kwon Do and became regional champion, training with the Great Britain squad. He was introduced to Leung Ting's Wing chun in 1995 and became the youngest 1st TG (black belt) at the age of 17. Sifu Vik opened his first class at age 18 and a little while after started training in Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai boxing. Looking for an effective weapons system, Sifu Vik found Escrima and training with 'Big' Paul Leslie and Master Steve Tappin in 2001.
As a competitive martial artist Sifu Vik became the WT Fighter Club champion, and eventually coach, after fighting and winning 100 full contact limited rules fights (with head guard). Sifu Vik has also fought in MMA competitions and most recently in the 'Call2Arms' Escrima/MMA arena, whilst obtaining the British Kombata Full Contact Stick Fighting title (no pads on sticks) at the biggest martial arts show in Europe, Seni '08. What really made this win so impressive was that the Sifu was made to fight at heavyweight despite being at middleweight and the fact he obtained no damage whatsoever despite using real sticks.
Sifu Vik's pursuit of martial arts excellence led him to begin his studies in sports science and physical culture, and as a result was one of the first people in Europe to use Kettlebells for martial arts in Europe (2000). Recognising that leading-edge training techniques require an increased focus on the safety of the martial artist or athlete being taught, Sifu Vik sought and acquired certification from some of the most respected sports science coaches in the world - Pavel Tsatsouline and Scott Sonnon, becoming the only instructor in Europe qualified in Russian Kettlebells (RKC) obtaining Coach level in Circular Strength Training (CST) as well as becoming certified under record breaking and world champion Valery Fedorenko and the WKC. Sifu Vik is now a highly-respected sports and martial arts coach, having trained K-1 and Escrima champions. Sifu then furthered his knowledge into the rehabilitation field by obtaining corrective health exercise and structural bodywork qualificaions off leading experts Paul Chek and the worlds leading authority in fascial bodywork, Tom Myers. He then decided to research and follow the more energetic systems and studied and gained qualifications in Chinese Tui Na and Chakra healing from Yoga systems.
Sifu Vik is the longest serving practitioner of Wing Tsun in the UK , completing the whole Wing Tsun system. and is the most experienced instructor in the practical use of the art, both in the competitive arena and on the 'street', having worked as a Door Supervisor for a number of years.
Sifu Vik is now the Chief Instructor for IMAS, using his in-depth knowledge of martial arts and sports science to produce superior martial
artists in a rapid timescale and as well as the continual development of the WT system his main goal is to help as many people as he can
obtain mastery of this system and of themselves as quickly and honestly as possible.

Sigung Cliff Alderson began martial arts training in 1973. He first studied Shotokan Karate and then Wu Zhu Quan kung fu (Five Ancestors Fist), before training at Master James Russell's Chinese boxing school in London. He then did seven years service with the British military, working with elite units.
Cliff started studying Wing chun kung fu in West Germany in 1983 and continued learning with another Master when he moved to England. In 1996 after teaching for several years and completing the four boxing forms he was awarded the title of Sifu as is traditional in Wing chun kung fu circles.
Cliff has run several Wing chun schools over the years some of which were in London, Slough and Taplow. Some of his former students are now Masters, UK and World champions in various martial arts systems.
He instructed Wing chun in the UK from 1992 to 2002, before retiring from teaching for several reasons, one being to devote more time to extreme sports such as mountaineering and long distance cycling.
With the opening of IMAS in 2007 Cliff was impressed with many of the concepts developed by the founding instructors: The objective and scientific approach to training, honest and direct teaching methods, the excellent curriculum which enabled students to make rapid progress, the focus on modern sports science and the "no games and no secrets" attitude.
In March 2008 he started practicing Wing chun once again, with his former student Sifu Vik Hothi. Cliff is now Senior Adviser to IMAS and teaches Wing chun and Chi Gung (Qi Gong).
Chi Gung is an ancient energy science developed over thousands of years in the far-east, it is related to martial arts and some components of it are similar to Kundalini Yoga. Cliff has been practicing Chi Gung since 1975.
Sigung Cliff enjoys old school intensive training, Chi Gung, iron palm and all types of weapons training. He has a big interest in martial arts history and has made a lifelong study of medieval weapons, particularly Japanese swords.
Cliff's interests outside of martial arts include mountaineering and free-climbing, shooting, mountain-biking, cycling and wilderness trekking.

"...from learning not just from our mistakes but our knowledge, skill, and success, gained from such an early age. Plus the continuing success of the children drives us, the instructors to train even Harder, setting the standards and the continuing evolution of IMAS... as high as the Sky!"

Harmit Riyat began studying the art of Wing chun at the tender age of eight and has been under Dai Sifu Vik's tuition and guidance for over 10 years. After years of hard work and dedication, Harmit recently saw himself become Dai Sifu Vik's first technician student in the IMAS organisation.
From a very early stage in his development Harmit displayed great potential and a willingness to learn. Always ready to go that extra mile to try and perfect his skills and technique at every opportunity. He is now studying the Escrima concepts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Sambo techniques with Dai Sifu Vik, another clear indication of the very high calibre martial artist he is becoming.
During his time with IMAS Harmit has gained many skills and attributes which have seen him promoted within the ranks to a senior instructor for the kids IMAS classes. Harmit is a composed and confident individual which are key characteristics in helping other students and children to realise their full potential.
Harmit originally showed great potential in football playing for Slough Town Youth FC from the age of 7. He went on to play football for Fulham FC at the age of twelve and at the age of fourteen he was scouted by the Crystal Palace FC player development centre. He also became the captain of his school sixth form football team which gave him the opportunity to play at the David Beckham Academy. Harmit has further more gone on to trials at his University Football team who train alongside Wycombe Wanderers. But regardless of being offered 1st team football he chose to dedicate all his energy and effort into completing his BSc Accounting & Finance degree and perfecting his Kung Fu.
Having accomplished many goals throughout his career, Harmit is currently aiming to fully understand and study the whole IMAS syllabus. His ambition is to one day reach the levels of his superiors Dai Si Hing Sunny and Dai Sifu Vik and become the best martial artist to ever graduate from the IMAS school of Wing chun.
Jamie Baxter is one of the fastest progressing students in the IMAS organisation.
Jamie has been a student of Sifu Vik Hothi's for 2 years and a private student of Dai Sihing Sunny Riyat for the
majority of his time with the organisation. Jamie is at the stage of becoming an advanced level student and also
on the path to be a Full instructor in the IMAS team. In his time with IMAS he has trained Escrima and Sombo from
courses and seminars but learns his Wing Chun as a private student of Sunny's, and by also being a part of Sifu Vik's
Elite Intructor Team.
Jamie has a willingness to learn but also the natural ability to teach and is putting in the time and effort to get him to a stage where he can pass on his knowledge of the system. His natural talent and passion to instruct comes from years of personal and communistic services, as a leader, and valuable part of a team. These services include playing football at a Semi Pro level for Hillingdon FC for 2 years and 1 year with Beaconsfield, where due to his talents, was offered several American scholarships to play 'soccer' at various colleges in America. He also learned to be extremely successful at teaching from his years of experience with working with children of all different ages, and at all different types of 'Holiday Camps'; throughout the year, with his most recent work being with 'Livinix'.
Jamie got injured in his football season of 07/08 with a torn groin muscle which is the worse injury for a footballer as it takes time to get back from. However, he was then recently introduced to IMAS Martial Arts. Jamie learned special stretches to perform at home and certain ways to use his body, which lead to a rapid recovery from his injuries. He can now confidently say "I feel much more flexible and able to use my body to a higher potential."
With this new influx of knowledge and skill, Jamie has now found a passion, from which he has become a very talented and ambitious person;
who has decided to lead the new generation of elite students to a even higher level standard of skill, that he has acquired with his time
at IMAS....However, his drive to succeed has now made him even more driven to catch up to Dai Si Hing Sunny and Dai Sifu Vik, as both
instructors have seen a potential in Jamie, to become the next best thing.

Hibah Rehman has been a part of IMAS for over two years, and has over this period become a well skilled and very strong-minded individual in Wingchun Kung fu. It is due to her never ending struggle to further herself academically and physically through training and education that she has achieved so much in such a short time. She has academically partaken in a yearlong accounting related work experience within a leading worldwide organisation and has also now recently completed her university education by Graduating with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Business and Management (Accounting). She is currently the highest graded female martial artist in IMAS, and is also the only female assistant instructor to be accepted into the IMAS Instructor Training Programme. This is purely due to the fact that Hibah Rehman has trained and developed her personal skills as a martial artist through hard-work, constant enthusiasm and her constant battle to always push herself, to see our strong physically and mentally she can become through her time with IMAS.
Hibah Rehman has also been training privately with the Dai Si Hing Sunny over the past year and is now also training directly from Sifu Vik, clearly demonstrating her resilience and fortitude to learn as much as she can. Hibah Rehman, from being an assistant instructor in adult classes has also become a leading role model/assistant instructor in the Kids kung fu Tiger Cubs and Little Dragon classes. She shows through her development that it is not just self defence you learn but more about your own personality, to become more confident, aware and resilient in life. Having volunteered for a local primary school in the past and assisting in local community seminars for kids, Hibah has vast amounts of experience with working with young children. Her belief is that Martial arts can help provide the fundamental discipline needed to unlock hidden potential within children.
With the correct guidance all children have the ability to excel and go on to be successful individuals, mindful of the society around them. One of Hibah Rehman's goals is to see the art become further accessible to more women, as she desires more people the chance to develop/discover as much she has done and more so. Hibah Rehman is proud of what she has achieved so far and is always working hard to maintain and further build her knowledge of the Wing chun art. She realises that with hard-work, effort and commitment she can go on to further pursue her interests both within IMAS and the outside world.

At the age of 13 Savi began training in the art of Freestyle Olympic Wrestling which he trained in for just over two years. He soon realised that he actually needed a Martial Art which was more effective and efficient in real life self defence situations on the street.
Upon meeting Dai Sifu Vik Hothi and Dai Si Hing Sunny Riyat he soon realised that Wing chun was ideal for what he was looking to learn. Since 2004 Savi has been under the tuition and guidance of IMAS Martial Arts. Over the last two years Savi has dedicated an enormous part of his life into studying and practicing his Wing chun skills to help him to gain the knowledge and experience of what it takes to be an Instructor.
In his quest to better his Martial Arts skills and gain more understanding of body mechanics Savi travelled to Bellingham, USA in March 2011 to study for and gain qualification as a Certifified CST (Circular Strength Training) Instructor. In his development into a complete Martial Artist under the guidance of Dai Sifu Vik Hothi has been training in Escrima concepts, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and Sambo. With all of this in addition to his proficiency in Wing chun, Savi has shown great potential while being prepared to give what it takes to go that one step further and perfect his skills and technique at every opportunity.
Savi now regularly teaches Adult Wing chun classes and provides private tuition in CST (Circular Strength Training) which includes Kettlebells, Clubbells, Intuflow, Body Mechanics and Prasara Yoga.
In 2009 Savi graduated in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies at University of Portsmouth. He now works with young offenders with a wide array of social difficulties, providing mentoring to help prevent them from committing further crimes and bring positive change to their lives.
While working towards fully understanding and studying the whole IMAS syllabus Savi is keen to take on a full time role within the IMAS organisation to help students reach their full potential whether it be in Wing chun Kung Fu or fitness. At the same time is looking to further his quest to become a real "awesome" martial artist.
We have a range of classes which run daily. Public and Private instruction available.
