Thorough preparation for a competitive bout is
essential for success. For those members of the
organisation entering a recognised competition, be it Wing Tsun or
another striking art, Escrima or a weapons competition, grappling or
MMA, we provide a complete preparatory programme.
We begin with a fitness assessment to
establish whether or not you are currently capable of going the
necessary distance in the competition or fight, then devise a dietary
and exercise programme as required to help you achieve peak performance
on the date of the bout.
From there we determine your technical competence
and devise a fight strategy (or set of strategies) that you
will realistically be able to implement during the competition.
If necessary we will scout your opponent if it is a
single-opponent bout, ascertaining their likely game plan and
weaknesses.
The ability to win, however, comes from your state
of mind and accordingly we utilise numerous positive mental
re-enforcement and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques to
ensure you have a winning attitude and belief in yourself.
On the day of the competition we will be in your
corner
or act as your personal coach during the day of the competition, keeping
you motivated, loose and ready to win.
After the fight we'll review how we did
as a team (both competitor and coach) and even if you've won, analyse
what worked well, what didn't, and what can be done to improve in the
future.
